Licensed, permitted, documented
Every electrician on the truck works under an ESA licensed contractor with a master electrician on staff. Where the Ontario Electrical Safety Code requires a notification, we file it, book the inspection and hand you the certificate of acceptance. That paperwork matters when you sell, when you renew insurance, and when something goes wrong years later.
Quotes before work, not after
You get an itemized quote with the scope written down before anyone picks up a drill. If we open a wall and find something unexpected — and in century homes we sometimes do — we stop, explain the options and re-quote before continuing.
Respect for the building
Heritage plaster, finished basements and operating storefronts all need a lighter touch than new construction. We plan routes to minimize opened surfaces, protect finishes, and clean up before we leave.
Safety first, always
Electrical work is the one trade where a shortcut can start a fire years later. We do not reuse questionable devices, we torque terminations to spec, and we flag hazards we find even when they fall outside the job we were called for.
Local knowledge
Kingston's housing stock is unusual: knob and tube downtown, aluminum branch circuits through the 1960s and 70s suburbs, and brand new subdivisions with heat pumps and EV chargers straining capacity. Knowing what is behind the wall before we open it saves you time and money.
